My house is comfortable and cozy. However, it is not perfect. There are two things missing in my house. First of all, my favorite color is green. One idea of mine is to have a green and white bedroom. I could put a white door, white floor, light green wall painting. The furniture could be all white and green - heck I'd even make sure the curtain fasteners and other accessories color-coded to my scheme! I would definitely change that about my house. The house is where we should spend most of our time, so it must be somewhere you identify yourself in. After having a green / white bedroom, the second thing I'd add is a basement. Why doesn't my house have a basement? A basement seems to be like a bedroom: a place where you can be inside for a long, long time, without being bothered by anyone, where you can listen to your own music, work on your personal projects and feel nice. But the bedroom is more like a fun / rest place, while the basement could be used to work / study. Those are two things I'd change about my house. I'm a simple person, I wouldn't need anything else. |
